Kurnai News

Friday March 5th at 9.30 am meeting for year 5 and 6 student parents at Kurnai College Churchill campus

Hello everyone, it is great to be able to introduce myself as the Campus Principal at Kurnai College, Churchill Campus.  Following a very interesting year in 2020, I certainly hope 2021 will be much more ‘normal’ for us all.

Even though we had a disrupted year, the relationship with Kurnai Churchill and our feeder Primary Schools continued to strengthen.  Whilst many of our Transition programs were put on hold last year, we are certainly looking forward to the first transition activity known as ‘Awareness Day’.  On this day students in Grade 5 and 6 will spend the day participating in activities and classes at Churchill Campus

We are always looking for ways to improve transition for students from Primary school into a Secondary setting and would love to hear any suggestions from our Primary families.

I would like to invite any Grade 5/6 parents to have a cuppa and chat with myself and Darren Campbell, Year 7 Team Leader on Friday, March 5th at 9.30 am as an opportunity to discuss anything about Kurnai College and Secondary School.

Kind regards

Cleo Lazaris

Churchill Campus Principal
